Assist with front-end user experience and user interface development and design while implementing overall web design and development in support of the corporate web strategy as a member of an agile delivery team. This intern role will assist in the translation of business requirements and user stories into creative mockups, prototypes and user-focused interfaces.

Job Duties:

• Assist team with aspects of web design and development to align with corporate web strategy.
• Translation of business requirements into user focused interfaces.
• Testing of user focused interfaces.
• Learn and understand user experience standards to include coding, and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Degree program(s) / Current Status: Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information systems or equivalent degree. Must have completed a minimum of 60 hours of course credit.
• Cumulative GPA: 3.0+ GPA preferred; minimum cumulative 2.5 GPA.

Other Qualifications:

• Previous web development internship experience is preferred.
• Experience with Lean UX or Agile methodologies is preferred.
• Requires the knowledge and ability to analyze and solve complex, logical problems.
• Experience in Photoshop, Adobe XD
• Educational background and/or experience using web development technologies such as CSS/CSS3, HTML, JavaScript.
• Excellent communication, analytical & development skills.
• Ability to think strategically, balance long and short-term priorities.
