Publishers Clearing House (PCH) is looking for a self-motivated, eager college student to join our team as a Copywriter Intern. We are a collaborative team who values input from everyone and you will have an opportunity to to study your craft on a professional level. Additionally, you'll gain exposure to various forms of copywriting, understand the relationship between copy and design, and develop the skills that can make you a successful copywriter.

 Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Assist Creative team by developing copy that meets business/brand objective
• Work with Senior Copywriters to create website, app, advertising and related copy
• Deliver complete, error-free copy that meets all corporate, brand and creative standards
• Process edits, inform team members of copy changes and maintain version control
• Proofread copy and secure creative, marketing and legal approvals
• Research, conceptualize and pitch new campaign/project ideas
• Create mock-ups and prototypes for presentations
• Review various marketing materials, including strategic/creative briefs and competitive reviews
• Research strategic/creative briefs and industry trends
• Various research projects as needed

Required Skills/Experience:

• College student pursuing a degree in Journalism, English, Marketing or a related field
• Strong organizational, time management and communication skills
• Ability to learn new techniques and technologies
• Familiarity with various style manuals such as AP, Chicago and AMA
• Prepared resume and portfolio of writing samples
