About the job
The Red Hat Career Center team is looking for a Career Development Program Management Intern with some experience in program management to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will contribute to developing and carrying out new career development programs and services including apprenticeship and sponsorship programs. You'll support activities and events aligned with the talent life cycle in support of these programs. As a Career Development Program Management Intern, you will also help with program design efforts and marketing of new programs. This internship will give you the opportunity to gain experience with cross-functional collaboration in an open organization, program design, and program implementation.
What you will do

  • Participate in the design of career development programs
  • Work on tasks related to the implementation of career development solutions, including event planning, program playbook documentation, marketing, and communications
  • Support regular program meetings and stakeholder updates


What you will bring

  • 1+ year(s) of experience in program management or program coordination, preferably career development or professional development programs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to compose and present comprehensive reports
  • Ability to thrive in a cross-collaborative environment while maintaining solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work full-time May-August
  • Currently pursuing a degree; if you have graduated, be no more than 6 months past your graduation date at the start of the internship
