Do you want to play a role in global commerce?

This internship is a 10–12-week project-based summer program, during which time the intern will gain invaluable industry-relevant experience by working directly with the West Region Investment Officers and other team members. This internship will expose the Intern to a range of functional areas within the Regional functions including Capital Deployment, Marketing and Leasing, Financial Analysis and other areas of interest. 

What’s needed in order to do that:

• Gain exposure to multiple operational areas
• Work on special projects with various divisions
• Assist with day-to-day activities of the Capital Deployment team.
• Compile sale comp data for markets within the West region.
• Conduct historical and prospective market analysis.
• Assist with creating discounted cash flow models used to analyze returns for potential acquisitions.
• Assist with creating proforma models for potential built-to-suit or speculative development projects.
• Prepare visuals and asset maps for presentations and investment memos.
• Work with investment officers on LOIs and RFPs.
• Update Salesforce based on activity within the West region.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Excellent academic record in their current undergraduate major(s) and program, preference of current junior/rising senior status.
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Flexibility to adapt to new processes and commit to continual improvement.
• Positive, proactive work ethic and approach.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively (oral and written) with peers and management.
• Show discretion, confidentiality and good judgment in handling sensitive and confidential matters and documentation.
• Direct Real Estate experience is preferred but not required.
