The Red Hat Global Demand Center team is looking for a creative, passionate individual who is ready to join us as a Campaign Analytics Intern and learn within an innovative and dynamic company. The focus for Red Hat's Intern Program is a dual partnership between the Early Talent team and our intern managers. We can offer you professional development, social engagement and networking, performance and development, and meaningful work throughout your summer at Red Hat.
What you will do

  • Understand various data sources (Salesforce.com, Eloqua, etc.) and data types captured for marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with the Digital Media Orchestration team and campaign analytics team to understand the structure and content of marketing campaigns data and associated metadata
  • Cleanse the marketing campaign data captured in different regions
  • Create a framework to analyze, visualize, and report the digital marketing performance metrics associated with various parts of the marketing activities, including assessing the right metrics to measure the performance and the reporting formats to different stakeholders
  • Pilot the implementation of this framework on two to three types of digital campaign types, like content syndication from specific sources, paid social from LinkedIn, etc.
  • Collaborate with the digital media orchestration team to help marketing program teams devise strategies for optimization of those marketing campaigns
  • Present the findings back to the marketing program stakeholders and seek input to refine the framework


What you will bring

  • Ability to work full-time May-August
  • Currently pursuing a master's degree in business management or a discipline related to data analysis; if you have graduated, be no more than 6 months past your graduation date
  • Passionate about a career in digital marketing
  • Foundational knowledge of web and social media analytics
  • Proficiency with Google Suite of productivity applications including Sheets, Docs, and Slides
  • Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communications skills


The following are considered a plus:

  • Passion for open source and working collaboratively
  • Tableau experience
  • Digital analytics experience
  • Willingness to wear a lot of red
