The Red Hat Information Technology (IT) team is looking for Business System Analyst Intern to join us. In this role, you will work as a member of a highly dynamic and collaborative IT FinancialForce Professional Services Automation (PSA) Application team. The team is tasked with design, development, and functional support for the PSA application. To succeed as a Business Systems Analyst Intern, you'll need to have solid analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills and ability to partner with internal and external business customers.
What you will do

• Work closely with global and regional stakeholders, development teams, and architects to solve business problems
• Write user stories and acceptance criteria as per business needs
• Participate in agile modeling sessions and lead sprint demos and backlog grooming sessions
• Manage customer relationships and day-to-day interactions and escalations
• Develop business case documents, business processes diagrams, and use cases
• Analyze business requirements; perform gap analysis and root cause analysis
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify dependencies
• Ensure compliance with SOX, business controls, and general IT controls

What you will bring

• Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program, having completed 3 years or more; if you have graduated, be no more than 6 months past your graduation date at the start of the internship
• Highly motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving, technical environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Interest in software and technology
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Good interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration
• Ability to work full time May-August
• Knowledge of Google Drive
