Business Systems Analyst Intern
About the job
The Red Hat Information Technology (IT) team is looking for Business System Analyst Intern to join us. In this role, you will work as a member of a highly dynamic and collaborative IT FinancialForce Professional Services Automation (PSA) Application team. The team is tasked with design, development, and functional support for the PSA application. To succeed as a Business Systems Analyst Intern, you'll need to have solid analysis, problem-solving, and communication skills and ability to partner with internal and external business customers.
What you will do
- Work closely with global and regional stakeholders, development teams, and architects to solve business problems
- Write user stories and acceptance criteria as per business needs
- Participate in agile modeling sessions and lead sprint demos and backlog grooming sessions
- Manage customer relationships and day-to-day interactions and escalations
- Develop business case documents, business processes diagrams, and use cases
- Analyze business requirements; perform gap analysis and root cause analysis
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify dependencies
- Ensure compliance with SOX, business controls, and general IT controls
What you will bring
- Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program, having completed 3 years or more; if you have graduated, be no more than 6 months past your graduation date at the start of the internship
- Highly motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving, technical environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Interest in software and technology
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Good interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration
- Ability to work full time May-August
- Knowledge of Google Drive
