Project Description:

• Mapping of category management processes and conducting gap analysis. Part of the deliverables is to provide a recommendation of process and system improvements. Work with a cross functional to develop process maps within the Category Management team. You will also work in Business Systems to develop a reporting dashboard for Plan/Forecast/Actual(PFA) project tracker. In addition to system improvements, you will grow an understanding of contract hierarchies within our supplier to contract system (Ariba). You will be responsible for identifying and executing contract workspace clean-up such as Outline Agreements budget adjustments and understanding and fixing contract hierarchies.
• This internship opportunity will provide experience within the Category Management function within Supply Chain. This internship will enable your understand Xcel Energy's processes, contract weaving, and data analysis.
• The candidate should be able to work full-time during the summer.

Minimum Requirements:

• Junior or higher
• Some experience of supply chain experience with focus in sourcing.
• Contract formation knowledge and experience.
• Project management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft® Office Suite and other sourcing systems such as Ariba
