Gokul Subramanian likens the perception team to the “eyes and ears” of Anduril. It’s an apt comparison: His team works across the entirety of the company’s products, enjoying autonomy over the tech stack while weighing the effects of engineering decisions. Jen Isaza often talks about the “Christmas morning” feeling that arrives every time she gets to play with Anduril’s wide breadth of sensor technology. She’s thankful for a tech stack that allows her and her team to take on multifaceted roles that play to their strengths. “I’m working on radar integration and tooling for our Sensor Towers, as well as a machine learning model development for Ghost,” she said. “The perception team is pretty unique in the sense that we can work on different sensors such as cameras and radars, but still remain on the same team.”
