The System App Development & Sustainment intern is a full-stack development role that will work with leadership teams and other technical teams. They will be responsible for partnering with all areas to ensure smooth system performance and provide audits on a regular basis. In addition to regular projects, they will be often be tasked with turning out quality, sustainable solutions within very short timeframes. This role may also be responsible for providing administration and support functions for various systems. This role works with the all areas of Disney Central and DRTSC as well as various divisions within Disney Global Business Technology.

Responsibilities :
- Conduct requirement gathering sessions for projects
- Develop applications to support business processes
- Troubleshoot applications post development
- End User support
- Partner with other application owners to create/utilize API's
- Develop training programs to roll out the applications
- Manage and prioritize multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced environment
- Work with multi-functional teams across varying business units with varying priorities
Basic Qualifications :
- Experience with HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, SQL, Java
- Knowledge of web technologies and libraries such as REST, jQuery, AJAX, XML, JSON, React, Node, Spring Framework, Spring Security, JPA, and OData
- Experience with SharePoint and the SharePoint REST API
- Strong experience working with Git
- Strong experience Linux and Bash, preferably RHEL or CentOS
- Strong analytical/debugging skills
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple assignments simultaneously
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.
- Strong documentation experience
- Experience using Maven

- Experience working with data from large scale data warehouses/lakes

- Knowledge of AVAYA contact center phone systems
- Knowledge of Business Objects, both universe design and report writing
- Call center experience
Additional Information :
Internship Eligibility:
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional Internship
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must not have completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
- Must possess unrestricted work authorization
- Must be compliant with The Disney Look
- Current Active Disney cast members must meet Professional Internship transfer guidelines (for Walt Disney World cast members this is no more than four points and one reprimand in the last six months; for Disneyland cast members this is six months of consecutive service and a performance record clear of any disciplinary issues (warnings, suspensions, etc.) for at least six months
- Must be able to provide reliable transportation to and from work location
- The approximate dates of this internship are June 2022 - January 2023
- This internship is based in Orlando, FL. Intern must provide own transportation. Limited housing may be available on a first come, first serve basis.
