The Red Hat Global Learning Services Curriculum team is looking for a highly motivated Analyst Intern who wants to gain direct experience with open source and Red Hat's offerings to join us during a summer internship. What you will do

  • Build metrics based on usage of our Content Services Source site, Student Guide content, and development tasks
  • Recommend redesigns based on data collected
  • Identify key metrics to use for measuring trends around curriculum development, including pages per course, chapter, and section, editing issues per section and per author, and graphics per narrative section; analyze the data to identify areas for improvement
  • Interact with the larger curriculum team to gather input, feedback, and support
  • Review current workflows within the quality control QC process and translation process to identify bottlenecks, measure them, and provide solutions for improvement, especially automation opportunities
  • Interface with our GitHub repos, Jenkins, and other toolchains
  • Review customer survey data and identify methods for identifying trends and incorporating this input into Red Hat Training courses


What you will bring

  • Ability to work full-time May-August
  • Currently pursuing a degree; if you have graduated, be no more than 6 months past your graduation date
  • Knowledge of analytical tools or algorithms to gather, evaluate, and assess data
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to gather and manage data
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with Tableau and datasheets for evaluating and presenting data is a plus
  • Willingness to wear a lot of red is a plus
