AI Intern (Graphics)

San Mateo, CA

Sony Interactive Entertainment is looking for an AI Intern to join our established, high performance team in San Mateo, CA. Our ideal candidate is hardworking and passionate about this field.

About the role:

The Applied ML team in the Sony PlayStation Future Technology Group is seeking a highly qualified intern for research and development in content creation using machine learning. In this position you will collaborate with multiple teams to develop and apply ML/DL in the generation of 2D/3D art assets for use in PlayStation games. The goal is to enable PlayStation Studios art, design, and production teams to build bigger and better 3D game worlds.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related technical field
  • Familiarity and understanding of state-of-the-art deep learning techniques
  • Solid understanding of computer graphics
  • Proficiency in ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow
  • Proficiency in Python and Linux
  • Ability to communicate research to peers and public audiences
