This position will include:

  • A combination of synchronous and asynchronous tasks.

  • Weekly meetings with a manager who will support you and your work. This frequency can be adjusted over time.

  • Collaboration with full-time Graph Specialists for support and training and other members of the curriculum team.

*This is a part-time contract position that requires 5–20 hours per week.

Responsibilities of the Interaction Developer, Graph Support Specialist:

The Interaction Developer, Graph Support Specialist provides content and production support for the development of the Amplify Desmos Math K–12 curriculum, including:

  • Adjusting existing graphs to incorporate updates from curriculum and design

  • Build precise static graphs to meet the needs of curriculum and design

  • Create animations that use timers to change opacity, size, and position from a list of specifications

  • Quality assurance for digital materials

Basic Qualifications of the Interaction Developer, Graph Support Specialist:

  • 2+ years of experience teaching mathematics in K–12 classrooms

  • Proficiency in using the Desmos Graphing Calculator, including with lists, sliders, and polygons

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Alignment to team and company values around technology, design, pedagogy

  • Shared commitment to team efforts around accessibility and equity work

Preferred Qualifications of the Interaction Developer, Graph Support Specialist:

  • Experience with Desmos Math 6–A1 or Amplify Desmos Math K–12

  • High level of proficiency using the Desmos Graphing Calculator

  • Proficiency in using the Desmos Activity Builder

  • Experience developing 6–12 mathematics curricula (e.g., student-facing lessons, teacher-facing resources)

Compensation:
The hourly rate range for this role is $35 - $40.
