Job Summary:
CDW provides top-tier education and training in the field of cybersecurity. We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Cybersecurity Instructor to join our team and help shape the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.
As a Cybersecurity Instructor specializing in Network Analysis, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction on various aspects of network security. You will guide students through complex concepts and practical applications, ensuring they gain a strong foundation in computer networking principles and protocols.
What you will do:
- Develop and deliver engaging course content on network analysis and cybersecurity.
- Teach and explain concepts such as Boolean logic, number base conversion, packet analysis, protocol header analysis, data encoding, and encryption.
- Utilize Wireshark to demonstrate real-world applications of network analysis.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in cybersecurity.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
What we expect of you:
- Strong foundation in computer networking principles and protocols.
- Expertise in Boolean logic and number base conversion.
- Proficiency in packet analysis and protocol header analysis.
- Knowledge of data encoding and encryption techniques.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Wireshark and other network analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Prior teaching experience required.
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent experience.
