Department Description
Institutional Business Division consists from four sales teams (DB, DC, OAM/Wrap and Corporate Sales[FIG]), Consultant Relations (CR) ,RFP and Institutional Client Service (ISJ). These teams closely work together in order to retain existing business and develop new opportunities in Japan institutional market. Especially, we recognize it’s increasingly important for DB Sales team work closely with Consultant Relation team.
We offer a full range of institutional investment strategies and solutions, including our own products and those of the other parts of the Fidelity business (Fidelity Management and Research (FMR) / FIAM / Geode).
Purpose of your role
- Work closely with the Head of Institutional Sales to achieve OAM/Wrap, DB, FIG sales target and other business objectives.
- Work closely with Consultant Relations (CR) and RFP team by engaging with consultants to support institutional business development with consultant advised clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct sales activities for OAM/Wrap, DB, FIG prospects to achieve OAM/Wrap, DB, FIG team sales target.
- Engage with consultants to strengthen relation with consultants.
- Maintains and strengthens existing OAM/Wrap, DB, FIG client satisfaction through quarterly review meeting, timely responses to inquiries, contacts to provide information and new product proposals
- As member of OAM, DB, FIG Sales team and Japan institutional business Division, contributes to the team by collaborating with other members to achieve organizational goals.
- Support to create client specific RFPs in some cases for Japan business
- Maintain contacts and meeting notes in Fidelity’s CRM system (Salesforce)
Experience and Qualifications Required
- Working experience in institutional team of Japan Asset Managers/Trust Banks/Life Insurers is preferred
- Working in English environment
- Strong interpersonal / communication skill (written and oral)
- Strong ability to build internal and external network
- Understanding of Investments
- Focus on delivering excellent customer service
- Team player (act as team, respect others)
- Adaptable to work under pressure in changing environment
- Willing to be flexible
