Job Description:
The APJ Digital Sales Manager will Manage a group of Inside Sales Representatives responsible for working day to day the HPEFS Digital Sales Hunters who will be working via telephone for the purpose of selling HPEFS Portfolio and is responsible for developing the digital selling organization.
They will work closely with the aligned HPEFS Growth Segment sales teams. The Sales Hunters they will supervise will own customers under $500K, manage Channel partners and work closely with our High Value Relationships in HPE and HPI . Planning is key and driving a plan on execution in collaboration the Growth go to market sales team. Focusing on driving key Channel business orders and forecasting with our HPEFS teams.
APJ Digital Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of HPEFS's sales initiatives focused on driving business. They will also work closely with the Growth Segment Go to Market Leaders and drive, programmatic programs focused on growth.
Responsibilities:
- Set clear performance expectations and regularly review individual and team performance.
- Develop training programs to ensure the team is proficient in using digital sales tools and techniques
- Responsible for the supervision of sales related activities and resources needed to facilitate the day-to-day efforts of the department and to achieve the business plan. Applies subject matter knowledge to solve moderately complex issues with established guidelines. Works cross-functionally with Inside Sales Managers to assist with business plan development As dictated by the Growth segment direction, will be responsible for driving outbound marketing campaigns, installed base initiatives, demo seed unit program, and additional projects as required by sales organizations.
- Responsible for employee career development, compensation, performance goals, monitoring and coaching, training, and new hire development.
- Develop and implement comprehensive digital sales strategies to drive revenue growth across all areas of responsibility.
- Performance and Metrics: Implement systems to monitor and enhance team productivity and efficiency.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance and forecasts.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Establish and track key performance metrics to ensure the team's success.
- Virtual Engagement: Develop strategies for engaging customers through virtual channels, including video calls, webinars, and online demos.
- Ensure the digital sales team delivers exceptional customer/partner service and maintains strong relationships.
- Oversee the management of partners and customers and ensure issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
- Implement strategies to enhance customer retention and satisfaction.
Education and Experience Required:
- Digital/Inside Sales Experience: Significant experience in managing inside sales teams, preferably within a digital or technology-focused environment.
- Proven track record in delivering business results from a sales or business development perspective.
- Experience in working and the understanding of the HPEFS Asset Management business
- Extensive experience in the area of sales, sales governance and successfully leading teams of sales professionals.
- University or bachelor's degree; advanced or master's degree preferred
- Typically, 5yrs Digital sales experience
- Achieves financial results within a business level
