We are currently looking for an energetic, motivated and adaptable inside sales intern who will support our sales team.
Position:
The Inside Sale Intern will assist in various stages of the sales funnel, including creating awareness of new offerings, generating leads, and coordination with outside sales representatives. You’ll gain hands-on experience working on challenging, meaningful projects with guidance from a mentor and other members of our team. This role will be anywhere from May 2025 to September 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Research and generate lists of potential customers
- Building a database of sports teams, leagues and organizations
- Make contact with and qualify potential customers. I.E. Intramural sports programs, Sports complexes, training facilities, etc.
- Learn and apply sales techniques
- Maintain sales records
- Loading leads into CRM (Customer relationship management) software
Requirements:
- Sales, Sports or Business Management major
- College-aged (Junior/Senior) with team sports (Football, Baseball, Basketball, etc.) background
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment in sporting goods
- Interested in learning all aspects of business operations.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit
- Experience with PowerPoint, Word, and Excel preferred
