The Inside Sales (ISS) organization partners with our global marketing and sales teams to generate a customer pipeline and drive bookings from the inside. Besides pipeline and bookings contribution, in the last few years this team has been counted on as the talent pool for the PTC global sales workforce.
Your impact:
- Prospect for new customers and sell PTC solutions to New Prospect Accounts focusing on business to business sales and Strategic Accounts
- Cross and upselling activities in strategic accounts
- Prospection into whitespace accounts and business units
- Grow pipeline and revenue across PTC’s proven Digital Transformation solutions portfolio
You will be part of an international and energetic team within a multicultural environment where professionals from throughout Europe interact with current& future PTC customers.
Day-To-Day:
- Identify and qualify new sales opportunities for PTC’s Digital Transformation Solutions in Strategic Accounts
- Prospect into whitespace accounts and feel comfortable targeting senior level decision makers positioning the value of digital transformation.
- Investigate and understand the internal business processes of potential clients
- Demonstrate the value of PTC’s Digital Transformation solutions through your activity (phone calls, email, LinkedIn and other social media)
- Drive the velocity of your opportunities further down the sales cycle and prepare the customer for a meaningful engagement with your dedicated sales rep counterpart and/or broader supporting ecosystem
- Nurture identified opportunities until they are ready to be passed onto sales/partner
- Demonstrate operational excellence and provide all-time visibility on your efforts (usage of PTC’s tools such as SalesLoft for calls and activity management, SalesForce.com for updates to stay current on your targets and opportunity follow-ups)
- Partner with cross functional groups such as Marketing, Field Sales, Virtual Center of Excellence, Renewal Sales, Customer Success, Channel, and Operations/Enablement to identify areas of success and growth
- Challenge yourself to build upon key competencies in preparation for your future career growth at PTC
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Solution and Value Selling/Positioning Skills
- Motivated self-starter with critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a desire for success
- Demonstrated Capacity and Strong Willingness to Learn and Develop
- Ability to manage adversity and consult prospects who may not recognize a need or pain yet
- +1 years of related experience in inside sales or customer-facing roles
Basic Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills in English and French is mandatory
