The Opportunity
Lead and guide your team with expert injury management advice as they assist injured workers on their journey to recovery and a return to full duties.

 

Your New Role
Join QBE’s Managed Fund Claims (Worker’s Compensation) in this critical role. We are looking for a strong, experienced Injury Management Specialist to take command of coaching and supporting the team, while driving the overall success of the business. Careers

The role will include:

  • Provide proactive, expert injury management advice to claims staff and clients.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in processes, procedures, standards, and guidelines, ensuring they align with best industry practices.
  • Ensure full compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements for medical and injury management interventions.
  • Contribute to the creation of training materials and policies around injury, treatment, and medical management best practices.
  • Boost team performance and elevate the broader business capability through direct training and coaching.

 

About You

  • Extensive experience in workers' compensation claims or a similar field.
  • Preferred qualifications and experience in psychology.
  • Background in Allied Health, Clinical, supervisory, or workplace-based rehabilitation.
  • Strong, up-to-date knowledge of workers' compensation laws, with a focus on legislative knowledge and work capacity decisions.
  • Proven experience coaching Case Managers, driving decisions, and managing complex claims.
  • Strong communication, people skills, and the ability to build a solid network.
