Infrastructure Specialist

Saxo Bank is looking for a hands-on Infrastructure Specialist with a passion for automation and a solid grasp of scripting and infrastructure services. You’ll join a team that builds full-stack solutions like the Saxo Container Platform (VMware), VDI Platform (Hyper-V), and Dynamic Test Environments, a private cloud solution on Hyper-V.

About the job

Your main mission? Help us solve the IREP challenge, our Isolated Recovery Environment. This means modernizing the tech stack and rebuilding everything smarter and faster than ever before. You’ll work on automation that powers critical infrastructure services and supports full-stack solutions like the Saxo Container Platform (VMware), VDI Platform (Hyper-V), and Dynamic Test Environments (private cloud on Hyper-V).

You’ll join Infrastructure Development, a small team of about eight people. We’re a mix of sysadmins with backgrounds in hardware, OS, and scripting. Our goal is simple: adopt a modern approach to building full-stack infrastructure solutions. We value practical problem-solving, clean automation, and collaboration over buzzwords.

We’re pragmatic, curious, and driven by impact. You’ll be part of a team that values clean automation, thoughtful design, and solving real problems - not just ticking boxes. We work closely, challenge each other, and build things that matter, usually directly impacting the bottom line of the business.

Responsibilities

• Automate bootstrapping for services like DHCP, DNS, SCCM, PKI, and Active Directory
• Build and maintain automation pipelines using PowerShell, REST APIs, Azure DevOps, and Git
• Contribute to scaling and improving internal platforms
• Work across Windows Server and RHEL environments

Your Profile

You have 3+ years of solid IT experience, with a strong focus on automating infrastructure to drive efficiency and scalability. Your technical toolkit includes advanced skills in PowerShell, REST, Azure DevOps Pipelines, and Git, making you adept at streamlining processes and building robust automation solutions.

You’re well-versed in core infrastructure services such as DHCP, DNS, SCCM, PKI, and Active Directory, ensuring smooth and secure operations. On top of that, you bring bonus expertise in Ansible, DSC, Windows Server, and RHEL, adding depth and versatility to your profile.

And if that weren’t enough, your additional knowledge of hardware or backup infrastructure makes you an even more valuable asset for tackling complex IT challenges.
