This position will serve as a key member of the IT Infrastructure team, responsible for supporting and evolving core infrastructure systems across the organization. The role balances day-to-day operational support with project-based engineering work to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure technology services.

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will take ownership of core systems, resolve complex technical issues, and contribute to infrastructure modernization efforts. This role requires a strong IT generalist with experience across multiple infrastructure domains, including networking, server administration, and hybrid cloud environments. This is a hybrid role, with the associate required to be in the office 3 days per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide advanced support for infrastructure operations, including incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis across systems and platforms
  • Maintain and support core infrastructure technologies, including networking, Windows Server environments, and data center systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement, and support infrastructure solutions that meet business needs
  • Lead or contribute to small- to medium-sized infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and system implementations
  • Monitor system performance, ensure system availability, and proactively identify and resolve capacity or reliability concerns
  • Participate in on-call rotations and support after-hours incidents as needed
  • Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and automation efforts to increase operational efficiency and reliability
  • Support disaster recovery readiness and participate in testing and continuous improvement efforts
  • Communicate technical issues, risks, and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS

ESSENTIAL:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field
  • 4–6 years of experience in IT infrastructure, including systems administration and/or networking
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, firewalls)
  • Strong experience with Windows Server administration, including patching, troubleshooting, and system maintenance
  • Experience supporting infrastructure operations in a data center or hybrid environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across multiple technology domains
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and balance operational support with project work
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
  • Familiarity with general data center infrastructure technologies (network, compute, storage, virtualization, backup, DR)
  • Demonstrate a strong motivation to learn and apply new technologies, leveraging automation and critical thinking to continuously improve processes, enhance efficiency, and drive innovation

PREFERRED:

  • Experience with Azure (IaaS, networking, identity, or hybrid integrations)
  • Experience supporting or administering network and load-balanced environments
  • Familiarity with Linux systems administration
  • Experience with automation or scripting (PowerShell, Terraform, etc)
