THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for an experienced Infor XA Consultant to support a Release 9 to Release 10 upgrade project for one of our clients. This is a 6-month renewable contract, fully remote within North America (Canada or U.S.), with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance.
In this role, you will partner closely with our client’s technical and business teams to guide and execute the upgrade process, ensure smooth system transitions, and provide post-upgrade support.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead and support the Infor XA R9 → R10 upgrade process, including planning, testing, data migration, and validation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess impacts, and identify dependencies.
- Configure, test, and troubleshoot XA modules such as Manufacturing, Inventory, Finance, Procurement, and Customer Order Management.
- Provide guidance on Infor XA tools (PowerLink, NetLink, SystemLink APIs) and integrations.
- Work closely with developers and infrastructure teams on the IBM i (AS/400) platform to ensure smooth deployment and system stability.
- Document procedures, provide user training, and support change management throughout the upgrade.
- Identify risks or issues early and propose actionable recommendations.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Infor XA (MAPICS), in either a functional or technical capacity.
- Proven experience supporting Infor XA version upgrades — ideally R9 → R10.
- Strong understanding of IBM i (iSeries / AS400) environments and XA architecture.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, fast-paced environment.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain industries.
- Background in data migration, testing, or QA for ERP upgrades.
- Previous work with Infor partners or consulting firms delivering XA modernization or integration projects.

- Contract: 6 months (renewable / extension possible)
- Location: Remote within Canada or U.S.
- Start Date: Immediate or within 2–3 weeks
