Are you passionate about shaping portfolio solution narratives and making a direct impact on go-to-market success in our key industries? PTC is looking for an Industry Marketing Principal to be a strategic partner for our Industry go-to-market (GTM) strategy.
Why This Role Matters
The Industry Marketing Principal will drive the development and execution of PTC’s industry-specific marketing strategies. This role is central to shaping how we engage with verticals, deliver thought leadership, and enable sales and customer success teams with relevant insights and content. The ideal candidate is a strategic B2B marketer with deep industry knowledge and a passion for translating market dynamics into actionable programs.
You will be part of the Portfolio Marketing organization, working closely with Product Marketing, Customer Marketing and Growth Marketing leaders. You will also collaborate cross-functionally with Industry Advisors, Sales, Solutions Consulting and Product teams to ensure go-to-market success.

Key Responsibilities
Industry Messaging & Positioning: Develop and articulate clear, differentiated messaging and positioning for our key industries with solutions that address customer challenges and align with key industry trends.
Thought Leadership & Advocacy: Drive the Industry Hubs program; identify speaking engagements, create and promote content; engage with analysts and industry forums.
Sales Support: Support PTC’s value-based selling approach, helping sales teams articulate PTC’s differentiation and business impact.
Sales Enablement & Program Execution: Deliver enablement materials; support campaign execution and ABM initiatives.
Research & Insights: Partner with Strategy and Competitive Intelligence teams to leverage data and Voice-of-the-Customer insights; drive data-backed decisions.
Market Intelligence: Conduct ongoing research on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and customer pain points to inform solution development and marketing strategy.
What You Bring
7+ years of experience in Industry Marketing, Solutions Marketing, Product Marketing, or other GTM functions in B2B technology or enterprise software industries.
Industry background in one of our key verticals (Automotive, Industrials, MedTech, FA&D, Electronics & HighTech) is a plus
Demonstrated ability to translate technical portfolio capabilities into compelling customer value propositions.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize market and customer insights into actionable GTM plans.
Proven success in developing industry-specific messaging and positioning, and multi-channel marketing strategies.
Experience working with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product Management, Customer Success, and Communications.
