Why This Role Matters
As an Industrial Engineer, you will optimize production processes by analyzing machines, people, and material flows. Your work will improve efficiency, safety, and quality across our manufacturing operations, helping Goodyear deliver exceptional products while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
What You’ll Do
- Establish standard cycle times, labor standards, and machine operation units to improve performance
- Develop and implement efficient work methods and procedures
- Design ergonomic, functional workstations and optimize plant layouts
- Analyze material flow and identify opportunities to streamline production lines
- Evaluate labor costs and assess the financial impact of process changes
- Monitor and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
- Lead or support process improvement projects using Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma methodologies
What You’ll Bring
Basic Qualifications
- VI/VII degree in Mechanical Engineering, Technical/Technological Engineering, or a related field
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Advanced English proficiency
- Collaborative mindset and team-oriented approach
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with production optimization and continuous improvement projects
- Knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma principles
- Familiarity with manufacturing process monitoring tools or OEE analysis
