Job Description

We have an opportunity for an experienced Indigenous Supplier Procurement Manager to join our team at Sodexo. The Indigenous Supplier Procurement Manager (ISPM) is the procurement lead for all Indigenous supplier engagement within Sodexo at a national level.

This role will interface heavily with the Head of Indigenous Affairs to provide Indigenous suppliers for consideration to become Sodexo Approved Indigenous Suppliers.

This role will undertake reporting regarding purchasing spend with Indigenous suppliers and will be client facing in some instances for major contracts.

Qualifications

  • Passion, spirit and desire to progress the well-being of Indigenous peoples through the expansion of the Indigenous Procurement Strategy
  • Well-developed skills to support the practical completion of the source to contract process
  • Customer-focused with excellent influencing and negotiation skills, teamed with the ability to understand key stakeholder requirements and build strong relationships
  • Demonstrate experience in Change Management and implementing business process
  • Ability to communicate at all levels with good written, verbal and reporting skills
  • Ability to resolve issues with a sense of urgency
  • Excellent Time management and organisational skills including a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, self-confident, honest and flexible, professional work ethic.
  • Ability to work autonomously and establish priorities
  • Minimum of 5-10yrs. to experience in Procurement and/ or Supply Chain function
  • Demonstrated experience of leading a range of procurement categories, e.g., FM, Food & Beverage, Consumables and Services
  • Degree in Business (Certificate IV), major in Supply Chain Management (Diploma)/ Procurement
