Your contribution to Prysmian's Success:  

We are looking for an Inbound Supply Chain Manager - Base Metals to join the HQ purchasing department.
 

In this role you will lead the team responsible of the distribution of non-ferrous metals to Prysmian facilities in the European Region, according to the Supply Contracts negotiated by the responsible of the commodities.
 

In particular, you will: 

  • Manage and supervise all the activities related to the inbound supply chain and triangular flows to Affiliates supplied through Prysmian Spa

  • Interact with GCLs to assure that conditions and volume commitment are reflected in the call offs and allocations

  • Manage the monthly allocation process

  • Assure on time and precise order management in SAP

  • Interact with hedging team to guarantee proper price risk management of the commodity

  • Organize coverage of all business days to grant continuity of service to all affiliates

  • Interact with supply chain to define demand and forecasts

  • Manage correct application of transfer prices

  • Interact with BPO for the administrative process

  • Manage proactively any supply chain disruption

  • Interact with quality and the plants involved for quality claim and address them to GCLs for major issues

  • Interact with Taxation for proper triangular flow management

You are the right fit if you have/are: 

  • Degree: Engineering / Economics

  • Years of experience in a similar role: 5+

  • Listed commodity pricing rules and hedging principles

  • Analytic & communication skills

  • Experience with SAP and IT tools

  • Fluent in both Italian and English, spoken and written - other EU languages is a plus
