Job Description
Spring/Summer 2025 (3 months) with potential to extend ad hoc through Fall 2025
As a Human Resources (HR) Talent Development Intern, you will support a highly dynamic North American regional corporate HR team in the functional areas of Talent Development, Learning and Training.
You will be involved in a variety of strategic projects and have operational responsibilities to support various activities aimed at enhancing associate engagement, learning, development, and organizational growth initiatives. This role will involve assisting in planning, coordinating, and executing talent development and training programs while supporting HR-related projects.
This is a hybrid role, with ~ three onsite days in our Farmington Hills, MI office, to allow for close collaboration and relationship building across the HR community at Bosch.
“What are a few of the activities I can expect as an HR Talent Development intern?”
- Assist in the onboarding of training vendors including updating materials, perform quality checks, and content creation of marketing materials for new offerings to associates.
- Participate in talent development information events to drive impact.
- Manage content updates and marketing to platforms used to inform associates about talent development processes, tools, and resources (HTML, CSS, some design knowledge helpful)
- Collect, curate and deploy content to support learning program initiatives. (for example: talent pool, rotational development program)
- Prepare regional talent review meetings to drive efficiency, accountability and execution of agreed development measures and actions.
- Create, update and enhance PowerBI dashboards for HR data visualization to derive business decisions. (for example: trackability, visual formatting, derive key takeaways)
- Other day-to-day duties and projects as needed.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Organizational Psychology or related area.
- Minimum junior level standing as of Fall 2025.
- 3.0 GPA minimum.
- Be onsite in Farmington Hills, MI for regular working sessions and meetings (3 days/week).
- Must be able to work 40 hours per week during summer.
Preferred Qualifications:
- You are well organized and able to prioritize responsibilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) required.
- You thrive in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Creative mindset; able to bring new ideas and challenge status quo.
- Knowledge in data analytics and trend analysis a plus.
- For Fall 2025 consideration, ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week (full-time preferred).
