Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) proactively serves as a consultant to management on human resources-related issues, acting as an employee champion and change agent. Communicating needs proactively with our HR department and business management, the HRBP seeks to develop integrated solutions and formulates partnerships across the HR function that deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization. The ability to think broadly, be curious and use data to drive decision making is essential for this role. This role will primarily support our newly acquired Stanley Access Technologies organization.

What You Will Do:

  • Partner with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals, including talent forecasting, workforce planning, and organizational development.
  • Identify employee training needs, facilitate development opportunities, and support long-term initiatives aligned with business strategy.
  • Provide consultative guidance and coaching to managers and employees on HR-related matters such as performance management, career planning, compensation, and employee engagement.
  • Promote feedback mechanisms to improve Allegion’s culture and drive continuous improvement.
  • Conduct workplace investigations, manage employee grievances, and foster positive labor relations.
  • Use data analytics and problem-solving methodologies to identify opportunities for improvement and drive HR strategies.
  • Implement HR programs such as succession planning, performance management, and training initiatives developed by the COE.
  • Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders, acting as a liaison between HR and business leaders to ensure alignment with internal client needs.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field.
  • 5-10 years of HR experience, preferably in HRBP roles.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies and processes (e.g., workforce planning, employee relations, performance management).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Experience conducting workplace investigations and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and influence through relationships, expertise, and data.
  • Familiarity with field service teams and union experience is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%.
