Danaher manages Workday globally to provide a comprehensive system of record for all associates. To achieve this, we require innovative and dedicated leaders who provide strategic planning, tactical direction, team building and day-to-day oversight. The overarching goal is to build a central team with a forward-thinking operation.

You will serve as the hands-on domain expert and owner for Talent Acquisition functional design and configuration management across Workday! Support, architect, configure and drive the implementation of Recruiting functionality and enhancements! You will demonstrate your functional and technical expertise to understand the requirements, business processes and contribute to the delivery of Workday solutions . With a focus on automation and continuous improvement, you'll work with HR cross-functionally and collaborate with different teams to ensure Workday is effectively managed and enhanced at an enterprise level.

We are open to remote work from any continental U.S based major city with access to an international airport.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with functional and cross functional process owners, acting as the solution architect for Talent Acquisition
  • Lead and support the requirements gathering, design, configuration, operations and maintenance of Workday Recruiting
  • Provide oversight, testing and approval to technical support team for organizational configuration and maintenance updates (e.g., reorganizations, mass loads)
  • Recommend technical best practices and provide sound solutions to support end to end business processes
  • Understand and maintain awareness of both current and new functionalities to continually find opportunities to optimize design, lead efforts to implement changes, and monitor improvements
  • Act as an active member for the Workday community and lead for feature releases, working with cross functional business users to define scope, prioritize, plan and implement changes and enhancements based on the priority
  • Maintain documentation of complex requirements, functional and technical specifications

    Qualifications
  • 4-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Certification or equivalent experience in Workday Recruiting; deep knowledge of current functionality, design concepts, touch points with HCM, Talent, Recruiting, and future product direction
  • 7+ years of relevant professional experience
  • 5+ years of experience in HRIS or information technology with demonstrated skills in HCM systems, specifically Workday
  • Demonstrated project management skills and resourcefulness to see tasks and initiatives through to completion with limited precedence and minimal guidance.
  • Demonstrated ability to answer technical questions for non-technical users and explain things in a way that a business associate will understand.

    Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior hands on experience with Workday implementation or upgrade experience which includes tenant design, configuration and testing.
  • Additional functional Workday Certifications in Core HCM, Talent, Learning, Compensation, Calc Fields, Reporting, and/or Security
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Extensive knowledge of best-practice business process and technologies for HR functions
  • Strong analytical skills: ability to analyze, document and problem solve with attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and oral/written communication skills.
