The VP of Talent Acquisition (TA) has a unique opportunity to help lead our effort to create a strong employer brand which reflects the "secret sauce" of our culture. You will guide the TA organization smoothly into its next stage of growth by introducing best-in-class programs and operational infrastructure that enable a continually expanding global footprint and complexity of operations.
Reporting to the Chief People Officer of the Americas, this leader will have global influence and strong support to accomplish their goals.
Position Summary:
The VP of Talent Acquisition creates a visionary recruiting strategy, inclusive of employer brand, innovative sourcing, and operationally precise recruitment processes that enable a continually expanding global footprint and complexity of business and People Org operations. They partner with the Chief People Officer and our top-notch branding team in developing a compelling Employer Brand initiative for Pax8. The VP owns full-scale sourcing and recruiting for North America and collaborates globally to ensure a consistent best-in-class candidate and employee experience. They partner with key executives and leaders throughout the business, building innovative strategies to source, attract, place, and retain high-caliber talent. The VP oversees and develops a full-scale talent acquisition team to ensure that each candidate has an exceptional experience. They are committed to continuous improvement in our recruiting tools and processes, and maintain successful partnerships with both internal clients and external recruiting partners to facilitate the objectives and overall success of the organization.
Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide strong, empathetic leadership to our Talent Acquisition team to develop, support, and challenge them to continually grow in personal and professional effectiveness.
    • Identify areas for talent growth and mentor the team to accommodate the organization's changing needs, evolving the team from transactional to driving strong business results.
  • Partner with Marketing, Revenue Operations, and other key stakeholders to lead the development and ongoing execution of Pax8's employment brand
  • Partner with Finance and cross-functional leaders to understand immediate and long-term staffing needs; develop capacity plans for TA while managing expectations and collaborating on the segment recruiting strategy for different job profiles and functions within the organization
  • Develop and drive measurable Talent Acquisition programs, resources, and processes to heighten awareness and understanding of Pax8's employment brand
  • Drive innovative recruitment technology to enable data driven strategy and decision making and streamline processes
  • Drive and implement organizational best practices based on successful recruiting trends
  • Ensure recruiting process complies with legal requirements and guidelines


Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • Ten (10) or more years of progressive HR/talent acquisition experience in global and/or highly complex organizations
  • At least five (5) years progressively responsible leadership experience
  • Multi-national or global HR/Talent Acquisition experience is preferred
  • Experience building and/or executing against a compelling Employer Brand
  • Experience with a rapidly growing company as they scale geographically and through M&A
  • Broad demonstrated knowledge and understanding of corporate recruiting processes
  • Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous personal and leadership development with the ability to use feedback and personal reflection to build own leadership capability
  • Ability to paint a compelling picture of the vision and strategy that motivates others to action
  • Ability to plan and prioritize work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals
  • Ability to see ahead to future possibilities and translate them to breakthrough strategies
  • Strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to translate business priorities into recruiting priorities, strategies, and plans
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of staff and leadership
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills and ability to effectively work and collaborate across departments and levels with a service mindset
  • Ability to grasp complex ideas and change direction quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated passion for service excellence
  • Excellent time management skills


Required Education & Certifications:

  • B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience


Compensation:

  • Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $175,000 or more depending on experience

*Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
