Overview
This position is responsible for planning, designing and executing staffing and talent acquisition management disciplines and activities to support operational growth needs for the Mortgage Production and Servicing Divisions. This role will formulate strategies, tactics, and action plans based on best practices, risk mitigation, and business impact to support the candidate experience and hire talent that will contribute to the organization's success.
Job Description

  • Define and administer comprehensive talent acquisition discipline to attract and assess highly talented and trained resources.
  • Translate hiring needs into recruitment strategy plans, and set clear expectations for the timeframe and partnership needed from the business
  • Advise hiring leaders on strategic staffing issues including industry talent trends
  • Collaborate effectively with internal partners to ensure a high quality experience for hiring managers, the staffing team and candidates
  • Manage team members, including commitment setting, performance management and operational excellence
  • Equip the organization with the tools and disciplines to achieve a high-performing talent acquisition process
  • Direct the administration for candidate sourcing, assessment, line manager interview and selection training and reporting
  • Ensure internal communication and reporting to keep the business informed of relevant talent acquisition activities, status and initiatives
  • Support the ongoing development of the organization through effective talent acquisition training
  • Partner effectively with Human Resources partners to manage client relationships
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned
  • Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values

Ideal Candidate will have the following:

  • 10+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience 5+ years of people management experience
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Experience using ATS systems
  • Familiarity with a startup/fast paced environment, ideally with high volume recruitment
  • Strong managerial experience; experience managing a remote team would be an advantage
  • Proven impact and influence skills and track record of successfully engaging with senior leaders
  • Project management skills, ability to deal with ambiguity & demonstrated collaboration skills
  • Relies on extensive experience & judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word
  • Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and able to work independently
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical skills and sound judgment
  • Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred
  • Strong business acumen and ability to interface with executive management
