Republic has spent five years shaking up the private investing landscape. We are now looking for an experienced People Operations leader to uplevel our current processes and maximize productivity and happiness across a global team.
We’ve doubled in headcount over the last 12 months and will continue to scale at the same pace into 2022, including internationally across multiple new countries. Our team is Republic’s greatest asset, and it’s important to us that we keep our team at their happiest, healthiest, and most productive throughout this hypergrowth phase. As a VP of People, you’ll be a trusted partner to each of our teammates and work directly with Senior Management to build policies that perpetuate Republic’s meritocratic and performance-based culture.
What you'll do:
- Lead and manage our People Operations team
- Develop and retain a high performing team
- Improve or rebuild core processes such as hiring, reviews, compensation, OKRs, and learning
- Mediate employee relations and performance issues and provide counsel to fellow managers on appropriate methods of performance management
- Partner with Finance to forecast headcount and employee mobility, in support of our business strategy and operational objectives
- Collaborate with business leaders to build a cohesive culture with equitable policies across organizational boundaries
Our ideal candidate:
- Experienced VP of People or Chief People Officer at a high-growth tech company, preferably in FinTech or other highly regulated industries
- Substantial experience with international expansions or international organizations
- Possesses unquestionable personal integrity, fairness, and inclusivity
- Ability to gain trust of business leaders across the organization
- Performance-driven leader with outstanding communication skills
- Experience building a positive culture across distributed and multicultural teams
- HR certifications such as SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred
