A key part of the management team, the VP of Human Resources provides executive-level leadership and guidance to Sightline's HR operations. The VP HR will be passionate about bringing structure and scale to solve complex growth challenges in a fast-paced environment with a diverse, largely-remote workforce.

This position will report to the Co-Chief Executive Officer, Joseph Pappano. The VP HR must be based in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Duties & Responsibilities:

This is a hands-on position with direct responsibility for executing Sightline's HR strategy, specifically with respect to Sightline's talent management, employee engagement, employee relations, compliance, benefits and compensation. This role will serve as an advocate for employees and will develop and implement initiatives designed to enhance employee engagement, development and productivity. They will also act as a positive cultural change agent, consultant and business advisor to the leadership team. They may manage/participate in cross-functional teams for the implementation of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and related activities.

The VP HR will also be responsible for managing and performing a wide range of activities including, but not limited to:
  • Management of talent review and succession planning processes
  • Performance management, employee relations, employee engagement, employee coaching and mentoring
  • Resource planning, management and acquisition
  • Compensation assessment and planning
  • Organizational design and development
  • Talent development, learning plan implementation

Experience and Qualifications
  • 8+ years' experience in human resources
  • In-depth knowledge of human resource processes, employment legislation, and legal regulations
  • Understanding and experience with employer branding and recruitment marketing strategies
  • Excellent knowledge of all aspects of HR management
  • Experience with HR tools and recruiting software
  • Sense of ownership and pride in performance and its impact on strategic goals
  • Metrics-driven with demonstrated process capabilities
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter and responsive team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Supervisory experience
  • Gaming and/or financial services experience
  • Experience in a high growth, fast-paced organization
