About the team
US Immigration is part of our Mobility Solutions team in our Talent & Career function within The People Office (TPO). We are looking for a US Immigration Specialist to lead our initiatives around the US Green Card process. Join this dynamic global team for a chance to build FIS' future.
What you will be doing
In this role, you will apply your experience in US immigration to further develop our US Green Card policy and process, and to manage current and future US Green Card applications with support from the US Visa Center (run by our FIS global immigration counsel). You will work closely with business managers, employees, and HR partners to deliver a smooth and efficient experience.
To enable this, you will:

  • work closely with FIS global immigration counsel, ensuring all US Green card applications are completed accurately and in a timely manner
  • track critical immigration deadlines and initiate follow-up actions in a timely manner
  • provide holistic and consultative support to the business on the current immigration landscape, internal FIS guidelines, and/or education on new or changing policies
  • maintain your US immigration knowledge by keeping up to date with any changes to legislation
  • identify opportunities for continuous process improvement to ensure scalability and exceptional employee experience
  • support your US Immigration Specialist team member responsible for non-immigrant visa cases.


What you bring

  • Experience as a paralegal on US immigration, specifically the US Green Card process
  • Ideally you would also bring experience in an internal US immigration specialist role
  • Proven strong project management skills applied in managing a high volume of cases
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to different audiences of various levels in the organization
  • Ability to perform work with a high-level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to thrive in a fast pace, changing environment.
  • 3+ years of Immigration experience
