As our Sr. University Recruiter - MBA programs, you will partner with our leadership team (including our cofounder, Hans Robertson) to build out our MBA university recruiting program with end to end ownership. Your role will focus on driving all aspects of the program including identifying, attracting, recruiting, and closing talented emerging interns and new grads from top MBA programs and to join our world-class organization. We are one of the fastest growing companies in Silicon Valley and you will be essential to our continued growth!


This role reports into our Director of Global Recruiting.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with our leadership team across business verticals (Sales Strategy and Operations, Strategic Finance, Marketing, Product, etc.) to develop and build out our first MBA recruiting program that sources successful MBA interns and full-time hires.
  • Lead all aspects of our MBA recruiting strategy to fill positions for our HQ office in San Mateo and new offices (Austin, Salt Lake City, etc.) Spearhead career fairs, speaking engagements, events, and marketing initiatives to drive Verkada awareness at our target MBA programs.
  • Evaluate specific business goals and hiring needs in partnership with each key business stakeholder.
  • Collect, analyze and present data to the leadership team for each hiring season regarding event schedules, candidate experience, hiring manager feedback, market trends, and competitive compensation information.
  • Support our internship program: coordinate onboarding and internship events, plan and attend all events, assign proper staff for intern programs, manage and evaluate the internship process, and drive a high conversion rate (intern to full-time hire).

Requirements

  • 5+ years of university recruiting, corporate recruiting, or campus recruiting experience; 2+ years recruiting from MBA programs a plus!
  • Strong project management skills and comfort with providing timely and clear reporting of progress, data and roadblocks.
  • Real passion for innovation, shown through creative recruiting strategies and continuous process improvement.
  • Experience partnering with hiring teams throughout the recruiting process, acting as an effective hiring partner.
  • Strong ownership of the candidate experience and process; experience working with candidates from initial communication/interest through final offer.
  • Ability to develop more junior recruiters and provide coaching and guidance, as well as acting as a partner to more tenured recruiters in later-stage career development.
  • Must have exceptional teamwork and multi-tasking skills.
  • Experience thriving and prioritizing in a constantly changing environment.
