We are looking for a Training Coordinator to lead development initiatives through hosting creative training events and educational programs. Ideal candidate has experience with coordination and facilitation of various instructional methods, coaching and skill development within the field of software engineering.
Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Training Coordinator, Trainer, Training Facilitator or similar role
  • Hands-on experience coordinating multiple training events in a corporate setting
  • Adequate knowledge of software delivery lifecycle, learning management systems and web delivery tools
  • Proven ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate)
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques
  • Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills


Responsibilities

  • Partner with subject matter experts in technology and organizational oversight to manage, design, coordinate and conduct training programs
  • Select appropriate training methods or activities (e.g. simulations, mentoring, on-the-job training, professional development classes, gamification)
  • Coordinate and facilitate training schedule that includes all areas of technical and organizational practice
  • Conduct organization-wide training needs assessment and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed
  • Partner with stakeholders to identify training topics, develop training programs and evaluate training efficacy and identify learning opportunities along with assessing instructional effectiveness, impact of training and KPIs
  • Build rapport with trainees, nurture culture of transparency through collaboration and inclusion
  • Train new hires on company policies and procedures leveraging the best training methods for a specific purpose or audience
  • Build technical knowledge and understanding of wide range of technology tools, software programs and applications that are generic, company specific or job specific


Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working as a training coordinator is required
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management and other departments
  • Proficient using Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously
  • Instructional experience in a group business setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of business goals and standards
  • Experience providing full-scope training materials, from analyzing company needs to lesson planning, development and implementation
  • Extensive knowledge of best practices in creating instructional materials
  • Conceptual understanding and familiarity with technical tools such as GIT, Java, .NET, Kafka is a plus


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor degree in a related field
