Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist
As a Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist at Snapsheet, you will directly impact one of our most valuable assets: our people. You lead the charge for finding the best talent for our Engineering team. You work with our team of sourcers to find the best-in-class technical talent and pique their interest in Snapsheet. Once a candidate has passed our assessment, you own the candidate's experience building an exciting and seamless interview process. Additionally, you are the expert for your hiring managers, implementing best practices for efficient hiring, utilizing data to drive change, and ultimately ensuring that they are winning offers and hiring the best. You pair your natural ability to network and influence with an informed view of the market to ensure that you connect Snapsheet with top talent. Throughout the recruitment process, you regularly provide insights into the pipeline and recruitment process reporting on wins and solving problems where needed. Other projects you will take on include: owning and managing our agency partnerships, Employer Brand initiatives for Engineering, building and implementing tech recruitment communications and materials, and more.
As a Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist, you have a passion for uncovering the best talent and getting them into the right role. You are naturally curious and, as such, you immerse yourself in the culture of the team you’re hiring for to fully understand their needs. On the flipside, you are a candidate advocate quickly building trust and rapport. You are not only a do-er, but a problem solver: you are given a task and you finish it, you see a problem and you solve it.
What you will get to do as a Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist:
- Attract, assess, and close the best Engineering talent.
- Partner with hiring managers to facilitate the entire recruitment process from opening a search to closing an offer.
- Build a talent pipeline for future needs utilizing interesting and innovative strategies.
- Create meaningful interviews that give every candidate a positive interview experience.
- Balance between candidate advocate and business partner to ensure you find the best match for all parties.
- Utilize data to report on your successes and make recommendations for go-forward strategy.
- Build and apply best practices for recruitment.
- Continuously grow your network and knowledge by staying up to date with industry and technology trends.
- Build our Engineering employer brand through articles, materials, stronger communications and more
- Report on your pipeline numbers as well as successes and roadblocks regularly
- Implement new sourcing strategies and attraction tactics to build our brand awareness and allow us to hire the best.
- Manage agency relationships to keep our pipeline strong
Qualifications for our Technical Talent Acquisition Specialist:
- 2+ years of experience as a full-cycle recruiter. Experience with Software Engineer recruitment is a plus.
- Proficient in recruitment tools and applicant tracking systems.
- Clear understanding of end-to-end recruitment best practices.
- Experience working on technical pipelines.
- Demonstrated creative approach to sourcing, attraction and candidate engagement.
- Strong communication skills & proven ability to influence.
