DESCRIPTION:

We are looking to bring on a Technical Talent Acquisition Leader for Resideo Products & Solutions in North America. As the Leader of Talent Acquisition, you will be directly responsible for supporting the entire recruitment lifecycle for positions across the business. This position will focus on challenging technology, engineering, and product management roles, primarily in the US. This is a unique opportunity to lead, build, and develop staffing strategies within a major growing part of the business to help bring exciting new products, platforms, and services to life that will define our future.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Build relationships with business leaders and key stakeholders to educate and execute on staffing needs, and gain understanding of P&S strategy and technical talent needs/gaps.
  • Operate as a Talent Scout for the Engineering and Product Management organization; build long-term talent pipelines, develop deep and lasting relationships with candidates, deep mining of candidates from across technical labor market, etc.
  • Help drive Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts to recruit, develop and retain the most talented people from diverse backgrounds, fostering a culture of real inclusion.
  • Effectively achieve recruiting results by approaching the talent market with innovative job advertisements and sourcing strategies.
  • Conduct workforce planning alignment sessions with the business and HR to gather insights to upcoming needs for talent and understand where pipelining of candidates is required.
  • Deliver the needs of the business in adherence with efficiency goals set by the team each year.
  • Contribute to the coaching and development of recruiting peers through sharing knowledge and industry best practices.
  • Operate with a high level of expertise and independence in day-to-day tasks.
  • Enhance the recruiting experience for both internal business partners and external candidates.
  • Successfully lead project work related to recruiting strategies that has been delegated or assigned.

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A) from four-year college or university; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience and proficiency in end to end recruiting cycle in a corporate recruiting team, recruitment agency, or staffing firm.
  • Proven experience as a technical or product recruiter, or knowledge and understanding of the technical recruitment landscape.

  • Ability to present and effectively communicate with candidates and business leaders.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to make decisions and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Ability to partner with and influence multiple stakeholders
  • Creativity in developing sourcing strategies and driving change
  • Ability to source passive candidates
