Technical Recruiter
Our Technical Recruiter will be at the forefront of hiring Product-focused roles, representing an investment in how we support future and existing customers alike. Reporting to Unanet’s Senior Director, Talent, you will help optimize the talent journey, transforming both prospects and applicants into thriving employees and brand advocates.
You will be an integral member of our growing Human Resources Team. We’re looking for a hands-on practitioner with a strategist’s mindset who is passionate about talent acquisition and who embraces proactive and pragmatic approaches. You will partner with hiring teams across our business to ensure that Unanet attracts, engages, and hires outstanding technical talent.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with our Senior Director, Talent and Senior Recruiter to activate and optimize our talent acquisition program, enabling Unanet to source, attract, engage, and hire top talent
- Engage in a mindful requisition intake process to fully understand business requirements and define recruitment strategy, with particular focus on Product requisitions (Engineering, Cloud Ops, Product Management, User Experience, Systems Operations and Technical Consulting)
- With the help of our hiring teams, draft job postings that inspire candidates and accurately represent Unanet’s brand, culture, and value proposition
- Plan and execute recruitment activity to ensure top talent is sourced from both active and passive candidate pools
- Utilize creative sourcing strategies and a variety of recruitment technologies to cultivate top talent and build robust talent pipelines
- Serve as subject matter expert (SME) on all things recruiting; educate and advise hiring managers and teams on evaluative techniques
- Inspire hiring managers and teams to make talent acquisition a priority in their daily work
- Promote Unanet’s referral program, leveraging creative tactics such as live events, network marketing and content creation increase quality referrals
- Drive our candidate experience through the talent journey to offer or other timely disposition
- Negotiate, prepare and extend offers to selected candidates
- Facilitate candidate debriefing sessions and contribute as an integral member of the hiring team
- Champion Unanet as an employer of choice and leverage Unanet’s employer brand to engage talent communities for immediate and future hiring needs
- Individually and in partnership with our Marketing team, develop collateral to share with prospective candidates
Your First 90 Days
In your first 30 days, you will learn about our business and how our recruiting team operates. You will learn the ins-and-outs of our recruiting technology stack, including our ATS, Greenhouse. You will learn, question, validate and begin executing our talent acquisition strategies. We want you to see our process end-to-end and we want you to contribute your ideas. Your first hire at Unanet will be rewarding, and we’ll support you in pursuing it in your first month.
In your first 60 days, our hiring teams will begin coming to you for guidance. You’ll coach them and escalate any unknowns to our Senior Director, Talent. By now, you will have become well-versed in our job architecture. Your proactive and pragmatic approach will yield recommendations to how we improve as a team. With a keen eye for candidate experience, you will help us up-level, from intake to onboarding.
In your first 90 days, you’re off and running. You’re conducting comprehensive intake meetings and dialing-in our recruitment strategy, ultimately strengthening our teams as your requisitions are filled. You’re helping us maintain our > 95% offer-acceptance rate. Your hires in your first quarter are loving their new job and our team is loving you because you connected them.
Who You Are
- 5+ years of full life-cycle recruiting experience in the technology industry, preferably B2B SaaS
- Demonstrated track record of sourcing, engaging, and closing passive, technical profiles (e.g., Software Engineers, UX Designers, DevOps)
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requisitions serving multiple stakeholders
- Exercises sound judgment, sensitivity and creativity to address changing needs
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and remote collaboration skills

Our Recruiting Team
We believe in strategic sourcing and effective messaging. More than one-third of our hires in 2021 came from our internal sourcing efforts and less than 5% of our hires came from an agency partner. We use a variety of tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Dice, HireTual, and more. We’re a remote-first organization that prioritizes talent over geography. As long as the candidate sits in the United States, they can live and work from anywhere.
We’re a no-ego team that delivers results. If one of us is out, we provide coverage for each other. That means interviewing for a requisition you may not typically interview for, scheduling candidates, extending offers – whatever it takes to do the right thing for Unanet and for the candidate.
We move fast, but we hire right. We do not cut corners. We’re a private equity-backed business in growth mode. There will be weeks when there are 100 things to do, but you need to prioritize the 10 things to do right now. We support our teams; we listen to learn their needs and we use people-centric practices to address them. That means defining the right evaluative techniques, asking the right questions, and being an advocate for both Unanet and the candidate. If we’ve found “the one,” we offer them, and your offers won’t stand in approval limbo for days on end.
