Role Overview
At InStride, we take recruitment seriously! We want our candidates to have the best experience, and this role is instrumental in supporting InStride's recruitment practices and culture. This role will source and place candidates who are genuinely passionate about both joining InStride and building an organization that impacts tens of thousands of lives globally through providing access to quality education.
We are looking for a Technical Recruiter to support InStride's Technology team's growth, specifically a variety of roles within Software Engineering (including DevOps & SRE, as well as QA) and Information Technology. You are someone who thrives on finding passionate and talented individuals that add significantly to our company and team cultures.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle engineering recruitment process for technical talent
- Source and evaluate technical talent for roles with Information Technology and Software Engineering
- Build positive relationships with hiring managers and serve as a thought partner
- Identify passive and diverse technical talent from a wide variety of sources
- Serve as an advocate and guide for candidates throughout the recruiting process, deeply understanding the unique motivations, interests, and needs of each candidate
- Drive offer process, including generating and extending offers, and closing candidates
- Identify and craft outstanding plans to meet hiring goals
- Analyze recruiting metrics and talent market data to guide your work and drive strategic conversations with hiring partners
Ideal Profile
- 3+ years experience identifying, qualifying, and closing exceptional technical talent
- 1+ year(s) experience at a software company
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent requisite experience required
- Accountability for delivering outcomes. This includes following through, making and defending difficult decisions and tradeoffs, and driving collective progress
- Collaborative mindset and phenomenal rapport-building skills with fellow team members, hiring partners, and candidates
- Ability to engage passive talent with excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels, including senior management
- High EQ, comfortable with ambiguity and has a “no job too small” startup mentality
- Passion for changing the world with education
