This role is based out of our new and exciting Mexico City Office. Mexico City is our first office outside of the US and you’ll be one of the first employees there helping us build the office from scratch and shape an amazing culture. We’re headquartered in New York City, with a large presence in Atlanta, GA, as well as innovation hubs & remote talent across the U.S. BetterCloud is backed, among others, by some of the best technology investors Vista Equity Partners, Warburg Pincus, Bain Capital, and Accel.
As a BetterCloud Technical Recruiter, you will be responsible for the recruitment process from sourcing all the way to making an offer for all roles in Mexico City. You’ll work closely with our Head of Talent, the Mexico GM, Product and Engineering leadership team and hiring managers to seek out skilled individuals who will contribute to the BetterCloud team. Given the fast-paced environment, we are looking for someone independent and practical who can operate with a high sense of urgency and collaborate with any type of personality. Our recruiters are aligned to organizational functions, but will be expected to flex when needed!
About You:
4+ years of full cycle recruiting experience, a mix of agency and in-house with a high growth organization is preferred.
Experience working in a fast paced SaaS environment is a ++
English is the business language of BetterCloud. Candidates are required to have a TOEFL proficiency or equivalent.
Proven success recruiting in Tech, with the ability to adapt and support the business wherever needed
Experience recruiting Backend, Fullstack, and Test Automation Engineers in addition to technical leaders
Experience creating and building a new office from scratch is a +
Foundational knowledge of Google Enterprise, Greenhouse, and LinkedIn’s full suite of products
Experience with Charthop and Gem is a ++
Experience finding talent from Technical resources like GitHub and StackOverflow
Extremely organized, strong attention to detail, and process-oriented
Prompt and effective communication skills, both written and verbal; you’ll be "client facing" and will need to shift gears when speaking to a technical stakeholder and a non-technical resource - adaptability is critical
What You’ll Do
You will be our 2nd recruiter in Mexico City, we’ll look your way for guidance on the market and building our brand in Mexico
Manage the full life-cycle of recruitment, from sourcing and screening to offer process, negotiation and closing, with a keen eye for documentation
Partner closely with hiring managers and department leads from kick-off to debrief of each search; ensuring flawless process execution
Understand engineering projects and priorities and convey those to candidates
Develop strong relationships with all candidates, understanding their needs and continually supporting them throughout the process
As a scaling company, we need to constantly improve our recruitment process so we need you to have a mind-set of “how can I be doing this more efficiently” and “why am I hitting a roadblock with this particular role.” Also, your ability to get creative in sourcing from messaging to events will be critical to your success. This is extremely important in launching in a new market!

Cover off on the Employee Onboarding process from start to finish
By Day 30:
Be familiar with our open roles and job descriptions and requirements
Shadow your peers - you'll start the month by shadowing calls, kickoffs and weekly syncs but by the end of the month you'll be assigned your first role!
Sit through your 30-Day review with a list of wins, and growth areas to focus on moving forward
- Transition from learning to doing - meet with our Mexico City hiring team and be ready to dive in on scaling out BCMX.
