Remote opportunity! This role can be located anywhere in the contiguous U.S.

As the Technical Recruiter, your primary focus will be high-volume recruiting for exempt IT and technical positions by developing and implementing staffing strategies and creating a robust talent pipeline to establish GXO as an employer of choice. What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Recruit for a variety of IT and technical roles, from entry to executive level; recruit for non-technical roles assigned to support changing business needs
  • Identify, support and implement sourcing and marketing strategies using various recruiting and social media platforms, job boards and other sources to attract and secure qualified candidates
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure exempt and non-exempt positions are filled with highly talented candidates in a seamless manner
  • Partner with management to develop recruitment strategy
  • Conduct regular business partner meetings to educate on recruiting best practices and market data, including execution of recruiting processes and tools
  • Develop innovative and creative ways to attract the most qualified and diverse candidates
  • Represent and participate in professional and college recruitment events to foster strong relationships and fill open positions
  • Effectively partner with members of the immediate and broad Talent Acquisition group to ensure success of the entire team
  • Consistently demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude and the self-motivation to do whatever it takes to achieve success for the team in a quality, professional manner while maintaining upstanding integrity and work ethics

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 1 year of progressively responsible experience in HR/Talent Acquisition, specifically in high-volume recruiting
  • Experience with Microsoft Office

It'd be great if you also have:

  • 2 years of progressively responsible experience with high-volume IT and technical recruiting
  • Demonstrated expertise in advanced internet searching and candidate research
  • Demonstrated confidence in all settings when advising/partnering with business leaders; ability to maintain professionalism and focus in an ambiguous environment
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in an environment with competing demands
  • Solutions oriented with strong problem-solving and follow-up skills
