About Rekademy

Rekademy was created to fast track into becoming a world class full-cycle Sales Recruiter at Verkada; this is your opportunity to break into tech by not only launching your career, but expediting it. In this program, the foundation of Sales Recruiting is broken up into smaller modules that outline the fundamental skills to become a successful, top-tier Sales Recruiter. 

Skills covered range from Sourcing, Talent Mapping, Screening, Coaching the Candidate, Candidate Experience, Closing the Candidate, Reference Calls, etc. Graduates from this program will transition into being a Jr. Sales Recruiter - fully equipped with every aspect of the recruiting motion, industry and company knowledge to run the full-cycle. 

Those who will succeed in the program will typically have been leaders, overachievers, and thrive under challenging and fast paced environments. If you are looking for a place that fully invests in the success of your career and will challenge you, this is the program for you. Associates typically graduate from the program as early as two months to as late as six.

Responsibilities

• Source, qualify, follow up and educate a high volume of mid-market sales professionals into potential candidates.
• Pro-actively generate phone screens for Sales Recruiters by positioning the value of Verkada through sourcing aggressively on LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Provide accurate candidate (lead) distribution and thorough discovery to your assigned Sales Recruiters.
• Use Lever (ATS) and tools according to Verkada standards; provide metrics on your activity.
• Consistently achieve metrics to ensure knowledge retainment.
• Comfortable talking with candidates and internal/external Recruiters and stakeholders by building relationships.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment while still providing quality opportunities and driving results.
• Strong entrepreneurial personality, self-motivated and self-managing.
• Capacity to develop relationships quickly over messaging and over the phone.
• Strong team orientation and ability to build cross-functional relationships.
• Understanding of recruiting cycles and required qualification criteria.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Highly motivated, driven and self-starting individual with a desire to be #1 and advance a career in Verkada’s recruiting org.
• Written & verbal communication skills in English.
• LinkedIn Recruiter experience is a plus.
