The Talent Sourcer will report directly to the Head of Talent Operations & Enablement at Ontra, and location is flexible.*
What you’ll do
- Sourcing strategy: Leverage your knowledge of the market and collaborate with hiring managers and recruiters to develop and execute on efficient and targeted multi-channel sourcing strategies for key job openings
- Prospecting: Work with the recruiting team to build candidate pipelines for critical talent needs, engage qualified prospects, and convert leads into new hires
- Screening: Conduct introductory phone screens with potential candidates to ensure their fit for our current talent needs
- Sourcing systems and processes: Help the talent team build and improve key sourcing systems with scale in mind e.g., sourcing library, CRM, sourcing automation tools, and nurture campaigns
- Programs and partnerships: Expand Ontra’s reach into key talent communities through creative initiatives e.g., direct message campaigns, niche job boards, ads, events, and partnerships
- Employer brand: Help enable Ontra to attract quality and diverse talent by honing the company’s internal/external messaging e.g., a/b testing, job specs, careers page, social media, cold outreach, and candidate communication
- Measurement and reporting: Consistently evaluate and iterate on sourcing efforts and strategies using metrics and data analysis
What you’ll bring
- Interest in sourcing: You can clearly articulate your interest in recruiting/sourcing
- Preferred experience: 1-2 years of previous experience in recruiting, sales, or other related experience preferred
- Written communication: Strong, persuasive, error-free writing
- Technology skills: Experience working with and a desire to learn recruiting technology and tools (e.g., Greenhouse or similar ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, Interseller, and GSuite)
- Customer service skills: Ability to deliver exceptional customer service with stakeholders across the business as well as candidates of all levels; ability to communicate professionally and leave a positive impression in any interaction
- Problem solving skills: Ability to independently and creatively solve problems
- Passion for people: Excited about a role that’s all about connecting with others and building relationships throughout the hiring process
- Attention to detail: Flawless attention to detail; can spot a typo from a mile away
