Talent Scout

The Talent Scout will unearth incredible talent and engage with partners to execute dynamic sourcing strategies to build great teams. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter with a positive and outgoing approach, and knowledge of the elements required for a successful sourcing campaign.

Responsibilities

The Company is one of North America's leading sales and marketing agencies specializing in outsourced sales, merchandising, category management and marketing services to manufacturers, suppliers and producers of food products and consumer packaged goods. The Company services a variety of trade channels including grocery, mass merchandise, specialty, convenience, drug, dollar, club, hardware, consumer electronics and home centers. We bridge the gap between manufacturers and retailers, providing consumers access to the best products available in the marketplace today.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities• Tap into all relevant channels (social media, LinkedIn, ATS, CRM, attendee lists, professional associations, job boards, grassroots, community associations) to proactively identify and engage prospective candidates for current and projected hiring needs across various banners/segments• Source, screen, vet and deliver talent to banners/segments with a "Most Placeable Candidate Mindset" - matching the candidate with a job within the enterprise• Full life-cycle recruitment execution, from initiating sourcing strategies through offer management and onboarding, and post-placement follow-up • Manage reporting requirements including maintaining requisition and candidate details• Assist Talent team with various projects, as needed

Minimum Qualifications The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job
Education Level: (Required): Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
(Preferred): Bachelor's Degree Or equivalent experience

Field of Study/Area of Experience:
• 2+ years of experience related to recruiting, sourcing, coordination or marketing• Direct sourcing experience for passive talent preferred• Proven track record of working in a fast-paced, complex, and deadline-oriented environment, with a bias to action

Required Qualifications:• Demonstrated ability to employ strong research skills and creative sourcing methods to unearth key talent in competitive markets, delivering diverse candidate slates tailored to the role and team needs• Ability to uphold professionalism and focus in an ambiguous environment, prioritizing multiple demands and opposing priorities, and maintaining confidential information with discretion and maturity• Skilled in prioritizing multiple demands and opposing priorities in a fast-paced environment• Expertise in engaging diverse talent from underserved and underrepresented communities

Preferred Qualifications: • Knowledge of EEO, ADA, and employment laws is preferred• Current knowledge in sourcing methodologies, techniques, and tools• Proficient in MS Office & Acrobat• Ability to present, train, influence, and negotiate• Confident in networking; ability to build partnerships with prospective candidates and organizations

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities • Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills• Well Organized, Detail Oriented, & able to Handle Fast Paced Work Environment• Strong Priortizing Skills• Knowledge of generally accepted practices, procedures, & standard policy & procedure development techniques• Ability to Ensure High Levels of Service & Quality are Maintained• Well Organized, Detail Oriented, & able to Handle Fast Paced Work Environment• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to take the initiative and build productive relationships, demonstrating critical thinking and creative solutions

Environmental & Physical Requirements
Office / Sedentary Requirements
Typically, requires the abilty to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may require the ability to lift up to 10lbs. required by the law.
