Description: The Talent Placement Specialist is responsible for recruiting, sourcing, and on-boarding new hires and transfers. This position collaborates with the Talent Acquisition recruitment team and plays an integral role in recruiting, sourcing and on-boarding new hires and transfers for JPS Health Network. Typical Duties:

  1. Assists with sourcing strategies, post jobs to recruitment job boards, social media and Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  2. Reviews applications for open positions.
  3. Conducts applicant screening, phone interviews, and behavioral based interviews.
  4. Communicates with candidates and schedules interviews for prospective candidates.
  5. Establishes and maintains relationships with hiring managers.
  6. Guides candidates through a positive interviewing and applicant experience.
  7. Contacts applicants to inform them of employment possibilities, consideration and/or selection.
  8. Interviews applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education and job skills.
  9. Coordinates and actively participants in interview/job fairs with hiring managers.
  10. Verifies and obtains educational and license verifications.
  11. Initiates background and reference checks and schedules occupational health appointments as needed.
  12. Completes weekly reporting metrics.
  13. Assists with recruitment programs and initiatives.
  14. Stays abreast of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and Affirmative Action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act.
  15. Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

    Required Education and Experience:
  • Associate's degree in business, human resources or related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in recruitment, administrative support role or related experience.
  • Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources or related field.
  • Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
