As a leading brand in the mental wellness space, the Calm Content team works hard to develop life-changing audio and video content that truly helps people build a habit around mental wellness. Whether that’s better sleep, less anxiety, or even movements to help get users out of their head, we create experiences that truly help people find a happier and healthier life.
What You’ll Do:
Securing a high volume of talent partners requires effective and efficient outreach, organization, planning and execution. Experience with crafting talent pitches and working with talent teams to develop and execute on talent activations is crucial to this role. Production experience with talent activations that require coordination amongst multiple stakeholders in an organization will be immensely valuable.
This role will sit within the content partnerships team, but will interact and support across the marketing, PR, and B2B teams, as well as all verticals within the content team.
- Collaborate with internal Calm stakeholders to identify Calm’s talent needs and brainstorm potential talent targets, prioritize and organize projects in development and assist with project management and execution of talent activations.
- Communicate with talent representatives, including managing in-bound talent proposals, exploring interests and motivations of potential talent partners and pitching and following-up with talent teams to move deals to closing.
- Organize deal trackers and maintain lists of potential talent partners.
- Work with marketing and strategic partnerships teams to advise and support non-content initiatives that incorporate celebrity talent services and IP.
- Organize and align internal stakeholders to ensure efficient and successful execution of talent activations.
- Develop and implement creative strategies for continually engaging our existing Calm talent partner family through gifting and other types of partner re-engagement.

Nice-to-Haves:
- You are a highly motivated individual with a passion for working with talent to create high-impact content and execute innovative marketing activations.
- You possess a strong knowledge of pop culture (music, film, sports, etc.) and are up to date on celebrity news and trends.
- You have at least three to five (3-5) years of experience with top-tier celebrity talent deal-making for various types of media and editorial projects, as well as experience executing talent projects that touch multiple points within an organization.
- You have experience maintaining and organizing trackers and lists for talent procurement.
- You are a highly motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and who enjoys working in collaboration with multiple teams to help them achieve their various goals.
- You are familiar with the business terms that form the structure of talent deals and have meaningful contacts within the entertainment industry.
