The Opportunity

Delaware North Global Headquarters is hiring a Talent Management Partner to join our HR team. This role can be fully remote, hybrid, or be based out of a corporate office located in Buffalo, New York. Preferred regional hub locations for this role include Orlando, Buffalo, Chicago, NYC, Detroit, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Boston, or Cleveland.

As a Talent Management Partner, you will be responsible for partnering with business leaders and HR to bring important talent management and associate experience processes and programs to life within the businesses. This role will act as a coach, consult, and trusted partner on processes that engage associates, strengthen talent capabilities, and optimize individual and team performance. In addition, this role will support the design of enterprise-wide Talent Management Center of Excellence processes, programs, and initiatives including onboarding, performance management, succession planning, career development, associate engagement, and learning and development.

Responsibilities

  • Shape the talent management strategy and priorities at the enterprise level.
  • Support the design and implementation of center-led talent management processes and programs.
  • Act as a thought leadership partner to the businesses in the planning and implementation of talent programs aligned with center-led strategies.
  • Partner with the businesses and HR to execute center-led talent strategies and measure impact.
  • Act as the voice of the business and recommends enhancements to center-led talent processes and programs.
  • Provide training, coaching, and guidance on the effective deployment of talent and associate experience processes including performance, succession, career development, talent reviews, and engagement.
  • Provide facilitation support for strategic leadership, team, and associate development programs.
  • Drive the effective execution of talent management processes, programs, and solutions in the areas of learning and development, onboarding, performance management, engagement, talent reviews, career development, and succession planning.
  • Ensure successful associate adoption of talent processes, inclusive of related technology systems and tools within the business.
  • Partner with the business, HR, and the Talent Management COE in the design of proactive talent strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to develop an understanding of business needs in order to create and implement integrated talent solutions.
  • Conduct needs assessments and creates plans to address critical skill gaps.
  • Leverage common learning solutions and implement scalable solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Partner with human resources business partners to support the talent review process and manage the talent pipeline to develop bench strength.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Industrial Psychology, Organizational Development, Training & Development, related field, or related experience.
  • 7-10 years of experience in specialized fields involving talent management is required such as organization development, performance, succession and talent pipeline management, leadership development, learning, and development.
  • Professional HR, OD, Learning, and Development or Talent Management related certifications preferred (SPHR, SHRM-SCP, ASTD).
  • Certifications in individual, team, and leadership development assessments and feedback tools preferred such as MBTI, Hogan, DiSC, 360s, change management, high performing teams, coaching.
  • Proficient with Talent Management systems, for example, Saba, and MS Office Suite applications.
  • Demonstrated organizational agility and strategic thinking skills to navigate complex matrixed and hierarchical structures while balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders and changing priorities.
  • This role can be fully remote, hybrid, or be based out of a corporate office located in Buffalo, NY. Preferred regional hub locations for this role include Orlando, Buffalo, Chicago, NYC, Detroit, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Boston, or Cleveland.
  • Ability to travel 20-25% of the time to various business subsidiary locations.
  • Prior experience as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner is preferred.
