Job Summary:
The Talent Investment team drives cultural transformation through an investment in our people. Focused on helping individuals do their best work every day the team creates and delivers content that engages and develops employees. We partner with the business to identify learning opportunities and use metrics to ensure we meet the needs of a growing organization.
The Learning Designer works within HR as part of the Talent Investment team and understands the needs of the business through assessment and analysis. This position is responsible for creating amazing experiences for our employees by building programs and materials that drive business performance outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop, design and deliver high quality training content and materials that create an engaging learning environment and are grounded in instructional design practices and learning principles.
  • Design, script and storyboard learning experiences that meet the learning needs of the organization.
  • Develop and modify instructional material including participant guides, presentation materials, and participant interactions.
  • Support the learning lifecycle from planning, development, storyboarding, recording, editing, and implementation.
  • Build and produce content in various formats.
  • Organize complex projects and drive them effectively with high visibility from the organization.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to share best practices and define organization-wide learning strategies.
  • Identify gaps in existing content and partner with subject matter experts to update content appropriately.
  • Continuously measure the success of Talent Investment programs through research, survey feedback, and other performance metrics to track and report results.
  • Work alongside corporate and field management to execute strategies intended to build a cohesive, energetic and successful company culture.
  • Uses standard e-learning development tools (e.g., Articulate Rise/Storyline 360) to develop e-learning content and media content.
  • Facilitate and present engaging training experiences as needed.
  • Use out of the box thinking and creative thinking to create meaningful learning experiences that are sticky and relevant.



Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree required.
  • A minimum of 3 years professional experience in a related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and practice of adult learning and education theory.
  • Superior interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate with tact and professionalism in all situations.
  • Ability to thrive in an environment with multiple, often conflicting, priorities.
  • Strong project management, organization, and written and oral communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office expertise.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to work in an organized and efficient manner even under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to think outside of the box and propose unique solutions.
  • Self-driven and eager to learn new things.
  • Desire to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
