Position Purpose:

Attract high quality talent needed to continue to deliver exceptional healthcare and ensure Centene's position as a major health innovator. Provide all stakeholders with a highly engaging talent attraction experience using business acumen, insightful data, and best-in-class tools.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Engage hiring leaders in effective kickoff sessions to establish and prioritize job requirements, while educating them on the talent landscape, timing, process steps, and expected trade-offs
  • Leverage best-in-class tools, data-driven insights, and quality processes to successfully develop and execute end-to-end talent attraction strategies within desired timelines
  • Generate and lead robust, localized, cost-effective talent sourcing strategies - planning phased approaches where required
  • Monitor and control the talent funnel by activating supplementary efforts, or un-posting positions with excess talent, as needed
  • Present hiring teams with a targeted and diverse candidate slate of candidates who possess the hiring criteria
  • Overcome obstacles and successfully drive required change-management through effective collaboration with a variety of adjacent functions (Talent Intelligence, HR Business Partners, HR Operations, & Compensation)
  • Influence hiring managers toward attracting talent who have demonstrated the capabilities needed to propel Centene forward
  • Build credibility with hiring managers through disciplined execution of the recruiting process, including providing accurate and timely update on candidate and outreach activities
  • Provide all candidates (including those not selected) with timely communications and a customer-centric experience which exemplifies the Centene employment value proposition
  • Develop and negotiate competitive offers, pre-closing candidates on financial and other terms.
  • Recommend where non-selected talent can best make an impact in the organization
  • Leverage available data and insights to build recommendations for continuously improved recruiting outcomes for your assigned groups
  • Achieve key performance indicators related to quality, diversity, compliance, timing, and volume of hires

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience. 5+ years of full lifecycle recruitment experience, preferably in a high volume, fast paced environment. Considerable knowledge of the principles, practices and procedures related to recruiting, staffing and onboarding. Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office, as well as Applicant Tracking Systems. Experience with CRM and HRIS systems is preferred. Experience in large-scale and/or healthcare organizations preferred.
