About the job
The Red Hat Talent Acquisition (TA) team is looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join us in Raleigh, NC. In this role, you will contribute to a team that is servicing Red Hat's growth at an impressive pace and, as we transform our business model into an industry leader in cloud solutions and a true multi-offerings and solutions provider for enterprise IT. You'll play a key role in achieving our business success. You will represent Red Hat to the external talent market, developing relationships with top talent, and building talent pipelines in the local market, while marketing the Red Hat employment brand in a candidate market.
What you will do

  • Build long standing relationships and network with top talent in local markets
  • Draft market maps and populate the new TA customer relationship management (CRM) Connect system to proactively cultivate candidate pipelines
  • Create and launch a regular stream of innovative marketing campaigns for select talent communities
  • Market and sell the Red Hat's message in a compelling way to top talent
  • Effectively deploy drip marketing to key talent pipelines
  • Develop and maintain relevant networks in your recruitment areas
  • Create and implement outbound recruiting plans to proactively approach prospective candidates and talent pools
  • Source candidates using a variety of creative, cost-effective, and diverse methods including direct sourcing, networking, internet research, and associate referrals
  • Use analytical, data-driven sourcing strategies to produce effective and efficient search results
  • Develop the Red Hat employment brand in the external marketplace
  • Cultivate and advocate the Red Hat employee referral program
  • Serve as an expert and innovator in the talent acquisition industry and use social media in unique, creative, and comprehensive ways
  • Understand business strategies and problems and underlying talent strategies
  • Maintain an outstanding level of candidate assessment and presentation to the business managers in culture fit and other key competencies
  • Continually develop a true understanding of Red Hat's culture
  • Serve as the main point of contact with our business managers of market intelligence and external benchmarking
  • Serve as an evangelist in the technology candidate marketplace
  • Understand and monitor our competition and be able to report market recruitment trends


What you will bring

  • 7+ years of experience as a recruitment operator with a passion for recruiting excellence
  • Experience with a variety of interviewing techniques, particularly in competency-based interviewing
  • Ability to think like a marketer and create unique and effective drip marketing campaigns to select talent communities
  • Excellent business insight and success in presenting a company's business model
  • Solid experience with professional social media tools like LinkedIn
  • Demonstrated success in inspiring key decision makers in the assessment and selection process
  • Ability to thrive in a team-based, dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to handle relationship-based multilocation recruitment
  • Proactive attitude with a demonstrated ability to inspire people with a consultative approach
